Swiss singer Chiara Schönfeld is blessed with a beautiful voice, which she uses with crystal clarity in her mystical, melancholic songs. She lends her third name, Itakiry, to her band and debut album. The name means water, a theme evident in the debut album in tracks like 'Sailor's Song' and 'Water Poem'. The seemingly simple lineup of the band consists of piano, double bass, and drums, delivering the most sincere pure music that touches your heart in the darkest places.
